Magic is everywhere - it's the rhythmic beating of our hearts, the translucent colors of autumn leaves, the sweet songs of birds.... magic is everywhere, yet we often forget to see it. I design Looking Glass magnifying necklaces to remind us that magic is everywhere, we can experience more magic by how we see the world, most importantly to see the magic inside ourselves! I have been a full time artist since the age of four when I began making gifts for family and friends.Today my collection of Looking Glass jewelry is founded on my experience as an award winning Art Director for national television commercials, and my intuitive ability to read energy and create with color.I work with colored gemstones much in the same way I paint with watercolors.I create narratives that evoke emotional and vibrational healing. My first Looking Glass Necklace was inspired after a date night with my boyfriend at a restaurant;I asked what he was going to order and he replied “I’m going to have to starve because I can’t see the menu!”I laughed, until the next day I accidentally brushed my teeth with a tube of antibiotic cream.I remembered having seen antique magnifying glass necklaces from the Victorian age, however I wanted to wear something more contemporary, that would be a beautiful and fashionable alternative to reading glasses.I now design Looking Glass Necklaces in many unique combinations of colors, stones and themes, to compliment the personal style for individuals of all genders and ages. I create to remind us all that beauty and magic is inside us and around us at every age.
